Also known as “Jacque-O!” – she became a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer in 2018. Her specialties include sport performance training, recovery and wellness coaching. As a lifelong avid runner, she believes wholeheartedly that movement is a necessary component of physical and mental wellness and personal expression. Her passion for fitness and rehabilitation emerged after experiencing her third anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) surgery from playing sports. She has endured a total of seven knee surgeries, five being of ACL reconstruction. Her goal is to help others transform their lives by making health and wellness accessible to all. She approaches fitness with the same holistic philosophy as running and rehabilitation, teaching clients essential movements which can be progressed and combined to produce a functional way of safely and systematically advancing the client toward their individual goals and needs. Her approach includes aspects of cardiovascular and strength training and an emphasis on flexibility and balance for total physical wellness. Jacque strives to provide clients with a positive experience that inspires reassurance in their personal ability to fulfill their health goals, as well as daily activities of living.
Jacque is an alumna of Henderson State University (AR) where she received her Bachelors in Athletic Training, Psychology and Sociology. She also is a former quarterback/safety in the Women’s Football Alliance – WFA, where she played for three years. In addition to her work as a personal trainer, she also serves as a mentor and coach to young athletes as a high school varsity basketball coach in Texas, as well as an AAU coach under the Texas U basketball program.
