Trainer

Shannon graduated Summa Cum Laude from Penn State University with an associate’s degree in Physical Therapy. Since 2015, she has been practicing as a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant in outpatient orthopedic clinics under some of the best doctors in the nation. She started her career in south-central Pennsylvania, working directly with orthopedic surgeons. Shannon played a primary role in treating the pitching team for the York Revolution baseball team, a minor league baseball team in York, Pennsylvania. She then had an opportunity to move to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina where she worked with high-level high school athletes, primarily golf and tennis superstars. Shannon has extensive knowledge and experience in post-surgical rehab protocols and return-to-sports procedures. Shannon’s list of post-surgical procedures includes but is not limited to ACL reconstruction surgery, meniscus tears, sprained ankles, joint replacement surgeries, spinal surgeries, rotator cuff repairs, and Tommy John surgeries. For 3 years, Shannon worked as a PTA in a women’s health clinic, where the focus was on pelvic floor physical therapy, and pre-and postnatal fitness and wellness. Shannon’s background in Physical Therapy also provides her with the skills to be able to wrap ankles, Kinesio tape (KT) multiple joints, perform instrument-assisted soft tissue massage (scraping), cupping, and other manual therapy stretching techniques. In 2022, she got her NASM certification in personal training with a mission to help those who didn’t know how to continue their fitness journey post-injury or rehab therapy.

Shannon and her husband relocated to the DFW area in October of 2023. They have two young boys who keep them very active. Shannon enjoys paddle boarding, crafting, baking, and spending time with her friends and family in her free time.

Fun Fact: Shannon attended her first Philadelphia Eagles game at 7 months old. She has not missed a home opener since 1995, as it is now a family tradition to go to the year’s first home game.

A word from Shannon: “I still hold an active license in Physical Therapy, but I felt I needed to do more. I wanted to help my patients beyond the limitations of insurance and corporate red tape. I also saw a need for extended care once a patient was done with their rehab care. My goal is to help those who feel lost in their fitness journey, those who don’t know where to start or don’t know how to set up a good program for them to see the results they are longing for. I am here to help you meet your goals.”
